Our Estates

Our estates embody the alliance of respect for terroir and technical innovation. From vineyard to cellar, we seek to reveal the uniqueness of each plot in every vintage, creating authentic terroir-driven wines while continuously pushing the boundaries of our expertise.

An Unusual Setting in Saint-Émilion

La Maison Cardinale offers an original approach to winemaking, combining tradition and innovation on two opposite slopes of the same limestone plateau in Saint-Émilion.

Our two estates, Château Fleur Cardinale and Château Croix Cardinale, reflect our commitment to excellence and our respect for the diversity of terroirs.

Château Fleur Cardinale spans 27.6 hectares on the north-facing slope, producing a Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé. The north-facing slope is also ideal for producing Fleur Cardinale blanc, under the Bordeaux appellation. Château Croix Cardinale covers 4 hectares on the south-facing slope, giving birth to a Saint-Émilion Grand Cru.

This distinctive configuration allows us to explore the influence of climate conditions and topography on the structure of our wines.”

Our philosophy is based on a meticulous approach adapted to each parcel, aiming to find the right balance between the vine and its ecosystem.

We see ourselves as interpreters of this unique land, seeking to express its richness and complexity in each bottle, rather than imposing a style at all costs.
